Matthew, a qualified nurse, is Kendall Bluck Consulting’s co-founder and Managing Director, with over 25 years health service and healthcare consultancy experience.

Matthew’s career to date includes working as a qualified nurse in a regional burns and plastic surgery unit and a large city centre emergency department; as well as managerial posts in medical HR at a large teaching hospital and two strategic health authorities. He was a member of the North Western Deanery award winning improving junior doctors working lives team and the workforce development and change lead for the Making it Better consultation on services for women and children in Greater Manchester, the largest consultation in the history of the NHS to date Following this he moved into the field of consultancy, delivering projects in partnership with the NHS, winning an NHS North West award for supporting the early implementation of the European Working Time Directive across the region.

In addition, Matthew has delivered workforce reviews in both the Middle East and the Republic of Ireland, as well as undertaking a number of interim managerial posts in the NHS including recently managing a busy emergency department.

Rosalind, a registered physiotherapist, joined Kendall Bluck in June 2017 as a managing consultant, moving into the dual role of Director of Operations and AHP Clinical Lead in April 2019.

Rosalind started her career in the NHS as a rotational physiotherapist before moving into the private sector in both the UK and Australia. Whilst in Australia she worked for one of New South Wales’ largest rehabilitation providers where she became a senior rehab consultant and, latterly, national product manager. Upon returning to the UK she became clinical lead for a DWP assessment contract before moving into operational project management in the healthcare managed services sector, focussing on project implementation, product development and quality. A certified change management practitioner, she joins us with a wealth of experience, both clinically and operationally.
